I have been writing poetry since around 1997, taking reference from the great Japanese Haiku poets Basho, Issa, and Santoka Taneda; Thich Nhat Hanh; Rumi; and the late great Leonard Cohen.

“Why not try writing Haiku” utter my dear friend Fraser St. John ‘SinJin’ Kirkwood whilst drinking coffee with friends near Lockerbie in Scotland, and perhaps at some point, SinJin’s own Haiku will make it’s way into the public arena.
