Stephen George Rae
Born in Ayrshire, Scotland, I am a contemporary fine artist, Zen poet, performance artist, filmmaker, storyteller, and Bard.
From the performance of Leigh Bowery and Matthew Barney; the sculpture of Yayoi Kusama and Niki de Saint Phalle; the paintings of Alan Davie and Richard Dadd; the humour of The Goodies and Monty Python; the Haiku of Santoka Taneda; and the philosophy of John Lennon, my artistic endeavours of art, poetry, film, and storytelling have evolved.
I am a member of The Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. I work with Druidry as a spiritual way and practice that speaks to three of ones greatest yearnings: to be fully creative in my life, to commune deeply with the world of Nature, and to gain access to a source of profound wisdom.
